  • Training our teams with the “right reflexes”.
  • The installation of energy-efficient equipment such as foam valves, motion detector lightning in corridors and communal staircase.
  • Compost bins set up to recycle organic waste on site.
  • Elimination of single-use plastic containers in the breakfast room. We favour glass containers and are working to reduce individually wrapped portions as much as possible.
  • Dematerialisation of the room directory now present in all rooms in digital forms.
  • Implementation of a fully digital press available 24/24h 7/7 through our e-concierge service.
  • Sending customers invoices by email.
  • Printing only the customer credit card ticket on request.
  • Automatic cut-off system of the air conditioning system in rooms when the window is open.
  • Waste sorting by our teams using different sorting bins (yellow bin, burgundy bin, recyclable glass bin, used battery box), as well as the return of printer cartridges by our suppliers.
  • Installation in progress of charging points for electric cars.
  • Elimination of plastic straws and stirrers.
  • Installation of a cup and paper bag to take away hot drinks and pastries.
  • Partnership with the TO GOOD TO GO platform to fight against food waste.
  • The air conditioning remote control is limited in terms of the temperature settings that can be selected (individual in rooms and collective in communal areas).
  • Implementation of LED lights, lamps and spotlights throughout our establishment.
  • Sponsor a beehive with a beekeeper operating in the Grasse region.

 

We also encourage our customers to follow us in our endeavours:

  • Bed linen and towels are changed automatically every 3 nights. Unless requested by the customer.
  • We offer a daily housekeeping service upon request. We will ask you about your preferences upon arrival. You can change or adjust these preferences with our front desk team at any time during your stay.
  • Setting up in all rooms an informative easel attracting the customer’s attention to this subject.
  • Implementation of Best Western’s “BE GREEN” programme, with the aim of not requiring daily cleaning in exchange for extra loyalty points.
  • Installation of a sorting bin in the hotel lobby.
